My love for mindfulness and helping others started with my own personal journey where I began working with a hypnotherapist called Sarah.  I immediately felt calmer in her presence and we connected on a level which allowed me to work through all my deep-rooted issues. It was hard work, and it was uncomfortable at times, but I was beginning to find some calm and I was so proud of my growth.

Not long after I started therapy with Sarah, I was presented with an opportunity which allowed me to study and re-train in a field that I was truly passionate about.  It didn’t take me long to realise I wanted to help people the way Sarah had helped me. Sarah had helped to bring me back to life after years of beating myself down and I wanted to help other people in this same way. This is where my wellness journey started. 

I started by learning Reiki, as I have always been interested in holistic healing and crystals. While completing level 1 & 2 of my Reiki qualification, I also completed an NLP Accredited Coaching Course. I was on the right track to begin helping people and it felt fantastic. 

Today, I continue to study new courses and immerse myself in different & relevant practices which allows me to bring you the very best in mindfulness techniques and counselling.

Reiki Healing

Reiki is a hands-on energy-based treatment. It supports natural self-healing whilst promoting deep relaxation and overall improvements to your well-being. Reiki can also help to alleviate the symptoms of stress and anxiety.

Workplace Wellbeing

Looking after your employee’s stress levels and maintaining workplace well-being can be challenging.. but it doesn’t have to be. The aim of a Kokoro Workplace Well-being Day is to provide your employees with valuable information and the tools they need to support their mental health, whilst encouraging positive employee mindsets and increasing their performance & productivity levels. By the end of the training day your employees should benefit from:

Within a typical personal development session, I will provide support and guidance to help you reach any personal and professional goals. The sessions will help you to explore your life’s purpose creating a greater sense of self-awareness. Providing you with the tools you need to be more confident and release any limiting beliefs that hold you back.

Counselling

Locations: The Therapy Rooms, Shaw Therapy Centre & Zoom

I offer a blended approach to counselling as I don’t believe that “one size fits all.”
My services include Person-Centred Counselling, CBT, NLP and Mindfulness. 
Counselling can help you overcome mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, grief, work related stress and relationship issues.

Meditation Training

Locations: The Therapy Rooms, Shaw Therapy Centre & Zoom

Whether you choose to attend one of my drop-in sessions, a 1 to 1 or a 5-week workshop. You will learn everything you need to gain a sense of calm, to become more self aware, gain more control of your thoughts, gain self-confidence and so much more.

Why invest in yourself?

We’ve all heard the expression ‘You can’t pour from an empty cup’ and this couldn’t be more true.  To be the best version of ourselves for you and the best version of ourselves for others, whether that be a partner, parent, friend or college, we must first look after ourselves.  Life will inevitably never be smooth sailing but by investing in our mindfulness we are able to better navigate any problems we may face. 

This could be as simple as dedicating 10 minutes a day to journaling, or booking yourself a counselling session to talk through any challenging thoughts or feelings you may be having.  The secret is not to wait until these challenging times arise, and instead invest in your mindfulness consistently through the rough and the smooth to really see the benefits.
